De Kuip as the centre of the trip

Feyenoord play south of the Maas at De Kuip, while most of Rotterdam's hotels, restaurants and late-night options sit around the centre or Kop van Zuid. Treat the stadium as the matchday destination rather than the automatic place to stay. That gives a group more choice without making the journey to the ground difficult.

Getting there from Rotterdam

Public transport is the dependable matchday choice. Feyenoord's official route uses the Stadion Feijenoord tram stop directly outside the ground. Rotterdam Stadion railway station only operates for matches and major events, while Rotterdam Zuid and Lombardijen are regular alternatives with an onward walk. Check the current RET journey shortly before leaving because matchday services can differ from the normal timetable.

Tickets and planning risk

Start with Feyenoord's official ticket shop. When season-ticket holders cannot attend, the club's official Ticket Exchange can return seats to sale; availability still depends on the fixture. Do not treat a resale listing as certainty and do not book inflexible travel until the kick-off time and ticket route are confirmed.

Build the weekend around Rotterdam

A central base keeps Centraal station, the tram network and the city's evening options within reach. Kop van Zuid is a useful compromise for travellers who want to stay south of the river. On matchday, arrive early enough to absorb queues and the very busy roads around De Kuip; the club explicitly recommends public transport or cycling over driving.
